A Stone

A large stone is there, in the garden.
Once a fragment of the sky fell to the earth
And gradually solidified from within, it seems.

Sometimes the wind caresses it.
Sometimes the birds sing all around it.
And just when the trees are sinking into a dream,
The stone cunningly becomes the sky.

The stone does not more so easily.
The stone is usually silent.
The stone remain a stone.
From time to time, the world turns to stone.

Sitting on the stone
I raised my eyes to look at the sky
I lower my eyes to look at the earth
I close my eyes to reflect inwardly.

In the distance the wind falls asleep,
Hundreds of million of years go by
Without even noticing it, I turn to stone.
